How to burn an ISO image using ImgBurn
In one of my recent articles I outlined how to
rip a CD/DVD using the free-ware application ImgBurn. Now I am going to
show you how to take an image and burn it to a CD / DVD.
If
this is your first time working with ISO files then you might want to
check out my first article linked below. However, an ISO is simply a raw
snapshot of a CD or DVD.
In the first tutorial I showed you how to rip an ISO image from your media to either be stored on your computer digitally, or burned as a backup.
In this article, I will show you how to burn it with ImgBurn.
Instructions
Things You'll Need:
- Computer
- ISO image
- CD/DVD Burner
- Blank CD/DVD
- ImgBurn

Insert your blank CD/DVD, and fire up ImgBurn.

Click on "Write Image file to disk". See the photo for more details.

Click on the folder icon with the little plus sign out from it. This will let you brows your computer for the ISO image you want to burn.

Once you have selected your ISO file the large icon at the bottom of the window should become click-able. Click it and ImgBurn will start burning your CD/DVD.
